Newborn's stress at the hospital

Newborn's sepration from moms found to be a major stressor. Hospitals should cut down as much as possible on the standard practice of temporarily separating newborns from their mothers because it puts stress on the infant. To come to this conclusion, researchers have compared the heart beats of babies that where seperated from their moms and those of babies keept with their mothers. the results show that babies hearth beat increase when seperated from their mothers.
